Janet Jackson covers and is featured in Blackbook Magazine April 2008 issue.Jackson sold more than 181,000 copies of her newly released album “Discipline” after one week which marks the sixth time the singer has topped the Billboard 200 chart. I love her and all, but what the hell was Janet thinking in this photo shoot?! Seriously, what in the hell does this depict besides some strange S&M type scenario? She looks like she’s about to have a serious root canal or something. . .interesting.

Yo dawg – u gotta admit though, it’s raw! It’s very artistic and it’s reinvention (which she quite possibly needs) I think she’s stretching beyond the r&b-”type casted”-image-thing and wiling to stretch herself (literally) in order to find a possibly new audience…anyway- that’s my take
