It’s Friday and I just got paid. . .

Literally. The aGEnT just got paid and finally can be officially excited about the weekend. Not a lot is going on in Los Angeles besides the official ending to the whackness that is called L.A. Fashion Week. I’m going to hit up the Belmont (great mac & cheese) for happy hour with Barackawear creators and founders – Brandon and Lori Broussard (You know. . the folks behind the Barack The Vote tshirts). Then I might hit up Vikter Duplaix’s Kiss N Grind party tonight for a little sweat. . . and finally end the night watching The Tudors – Season 1 before Season 2 officially premieres on Showtime, March 30th.

Saturday – basically going to be filled with finding a new apartment as well as reading Eckhart Tolle’s A New Earth. My superstar roommate, Mateo, returns from NYC (yeah, I’m jealous). The evening will be filled with the aGEnT attending his friend’s birthday party at Central Hollywood and then hitting up Villa.

Sunday – I’m playing with Jesus at Agape or West Angeles.

This is slightly old news (or maybe obvious news), but former Destiny’s Child singer, Kelly Rowland, recently admitted in the latest issue of People that she underwent breast augmentation last year. Specifically she said:

“I simply went from an A-cup to a B-cup. I didn’t want double D’s and be a little bitty size 2. That would look nuts… this one really hot House of Dereon top — I just wanted to fill that out! I put it on and I looked SO good!I’m so happy. I feel complete.”

The luckless 28 year-old’s dreams of giving his sweetheart, Leanne, 26, the ultimate proposal have literally vanished into thin air.

Hajji, of Hackney, east London, had concealed a $12,000 engagement ring inside a helium balloon. The idea was that she would pop the balloon as he popped the question.

But as he left the shop, a gust of wind pulled the balloon from his hand and he watched the ring — and quite possibly the affections of his girlfriend — sailing away over the rooftops.

Robin Antin unveiled her new line of nipple and squirrel covers during L.A. Fashion Week yesterday. Robin is selling her pieces of lingerie under the Pussycat Doll name. The show included a performance from PCD. If I didn’t know this was a fashion show I would’ve guessed it was the red light district of Amsterdam. That being said, I would probably walk around in public like this if I was them. Besides call girls, trannies and male politicians, who the hell wears lingerie anymore?

   

  

FRESH MUSIC: Rihanna – Take A Bow

 

Rihanna has decided to release every track on her album Good Girl Gone Bad as a single – at least it seems that way. This morning, Mrs. Chris Brown premiered her new track Take A Bow (written by Ne-Yo and produced by Stargate) which will be included in the re-release of her album. Personally – I think she should still with the dance tracks – that’s where she’s strongest. . but that’s me. I think she should ‘take a bow’ and call it a night with this album and work on the new record (which I’m sure will be out this year).

Djimon will ‘Never Back Down’

Djimon Hounsou stars in Never Back Down opening nationwide this weekend. The movie is simply about a kid who at his new high school, a rebellious teen is lured into an underground fight club, where he finds a mentor in a mixed martial arts veteran (Hounsou). Sounds interesting? Nope. But I’m sure it’ll make some money in order for Djimon to prepare to support his new baby on the way with Kimora.
