Thanks to a commanding runway presence and some ultra-pretty pictures, the busty and beautiful Whitney Thompson was named America’s Next Top Model, becoming the first plus-sized (or, full-figured) poser to make the top-rated CW series’ final three, let alone win the whole darn thing.

“There’s definitely times I’ve looked in the mirror and looked at other girls and thought, I wasn’t like them,” the 20-year-old from Atlantic Beach, Fla., said after learning she had beat out her high-fashion-ready cofinalist, Anya Kop, for all the spoils.

“I want other women in America to feel good about themselves…It’s amazing to be America’s Next Top Model. This is exactly what I want. This is what I’ve always wanted!” she exclaimed.
